Missing Bearer Capability Information In Provide Roaming Number Message Causing CS Data Call Failure. (Doc ID 2117060.1)

HLR is not passing the bearer capability information in Provide Roaming number message although SRI from MSC contains bearer capability info for CS data call.This causes the customer's devices not able to respond with the required bearer in the connection confirm message and so the cs data bearer cannot be setup.

Symptoms

In Problematic Case SRI message, we have bearer capability info present as

 In Successful CS Data call scenario, Bearer capability information element is present in both MAP SRI as well as PRN message.
