Oracle HSM: Specific T0000D Firmware Needed to Support Distributed I/O and Media Migration Using Xcopy Features (Doc ID 2124578.1)

Symptoms

There have been a few issues found with specific T10000D (T10kD) firmware, supporting the HSM features of 'Distributed I/O' (new in the HSM 5.4 release) and 'Media Migration using Xcopy' (new feature in the 6.1 release).

Starting with the use of 4.10.106 T10kD drive firmware code, the following issues were reported, when using the two different Oracle HSM features. 

When using Distributed I/O, the following error was seen in the /var/opt/SUNWsamfs/trace/sam-archiverd trace file:
