ACSLS - Reporting Message "STATUS_VALID" (Doc ID 2134473.1)

Symptoms

While attempting to mount a scratch tape, ACSLS is responding with a new Warning message: STATUS_VALID
 
According to the documentation, this should only be associated with “locking” but that is not where they were seeing the Warning message.
They attempted to treat it as STATUS_SUCCESS (since the documentation implied that is what the Warning message means) but there appear to be some significant differences.

Customer is also seeing the error while trying to dismount tapes or cancel the mount operation.
