Symptoms
Starting Shared Shell from ASR portal or locally with MDVOP fails with "Failed to open shell connection"
From /home/sdp2admin/.mdvop/transcripts/ShellServiceLogger.0.log we can see that shared shell is not linking the hostname correctly and generates a null exception :
