Applies to:

Oracle Database Appliance - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After replacing a 73GB SSD drive with a 200GB SSD drive, oakcli show disk is showing the disk as "ValidationFail" status.

For example:

The 73GB drives are EOL'd for ODA, and can no longer be ordered.  Logistics/TSC should order a 200GB drive pn 7309938, to replace the 73GB drive, pn 7048042 or 7011094.

If the customer is not running an OS/OAK version that does not support the 200GB drives, they will see "ValidationFail" error.
