VNETs flap down/up after LDM upgrade to 3.4 (Doc ID 2148086.1)

Symptoms

 All VNETs interfaces, in all Logical Guest Domains are flapping, it takes couple of seconds every time:

Jun 5 16:42:06 ldomX vnet: [ID 134599 kern.info] vnet0: link down
Jun 5 16:42:09 ldomX vnet: [ID 134599 kern.info] vnet0: link up

 

During the same time, Control Domain unregister and re-register all corresponding vswX.vportY:

Jun 5 16:42:09 cdom mac: [ID 736570 kern.info] NOTICE: ldoms-vsw0.vport2 unregistered
Jun 5 16:42:09 cdom mac: [ID 469746 kern.info] NOTICE: ldoms-vsw0.vport2 registered

Changes

This problem can be seen after an upgrade of OVM to version 3.4, that comes bundled with Solaris 11.3 SRU 8.6 or newer.
