EMC PowerPath

After mapping a new LUN to the server the customer observed that several commands became unresponsive.
For example:

format
cfgadm
devfsadm
powermt (EMC Powerpath management command)

Please Note - this behavior was also reported when the customer had attempted to unmap LUNs from the Server.

Mapping/Unmapping LUNs presented by EMC Storage Array where EMC PowerPath is also in use.
