Goal
Provide an overview on missing Ethernet Interfaces (e.g. ixgbe, igb, e1000g, e1000g, nxge). This document is not related to virtualized interfaces.
A missing Etherent interface device is usually observed when the interface can not be plumbed at boot or the driver instance can not get attached.
E.g. in /var/adm/messages we see
bge0, bge1: ethernet driver and instance
