Symptoms
When collecting a SP snapshot from the Browser User interface the snapshot tool fails to collect trouble shooting data (would also fail when using CLI mode in this case).
- Here an example what happens if the SP's root user has the ALOM shell assigned and you try to collect a snapshot of the SP.
- --> The SP snapshot failed to collect the output of ILOM commands because the ALOM shell does not understand the ILOM commands.
- --> Instead of the expected output, you see the following errors in the output file:

The root user's ILOM shell was changed from the default shell (ILOM) to the ALOM shell.
