System hang can happen while issuing SCSI Persistent Reserve Out (PROUT) to storage target.
Symantec Veritas Cluster Server is known to use PROUT.

Shoud the issue happen, I/O is found to be blocked in the SCSI driver layer

 This issue happens in emlxs and qlc drivers.
