Purpose

Document the versions of the software components on the Oracle Big Data Appliance (BDA) V4.6 and explain to the reader how to find the versions of these software components. Refer to Oracle Big Data Appliance Frequently Asked Questions v2.x (FAQ) (Doc ID 1518525.1) for questions on upgrading, installing, and/or uninstalling software on the BDA.

Note on a running system you can find the installed versions in Cloudera Manager (CM). You can find the installed version by running the Host Inspector from CM -> Hosts page to generate a report of versions on the cluster.

From CM navigate:

Hosts > Inspect Hosts in Cluster > Show Inspector Results > See Version Summary: The first section shows: Validations, The second part shows: Version Summary
