Solaris Cluster 4.x Failover Zone is Restarted when Dynamically Adding ZFS Dataset (Doc ID 2188392.1)

Symptoms

While adding a dataset, a ZFS zpool to a zone that is controlled by Solaris Cluster 4.x you will run a "zoneadm apply" command for the change to take effect. This will trigger a zone reboot by Solaris Cluster SUNWsczbt agent.

The steps to add a dataset to a zone are below.

** Notice that adding a dataset to a cluster controlled failover zone is not different from adding non-cluster controlled regular zone.

Add the new dataset
