Issuing 'clrg switch' against a SAP Central Service resource group may cause the Enqueue Replication resource group to go offline (Doc ID 2189391.1)

Last updated on APRIL 27, 2021

Applies to:

Solaris Cluster - Version 4.0 to 4.3 [Release 4.0 to 4.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In this example we have the Central Services resource group, scs-rg, on node 1 and the Enqueue Replication resource group, ers-rg, on node 2.

Switching scs-rg to node 2 causes the preempter resource to switch the ers-rg resource group to node 1. If the scs-rg resource group is switched back to node one in less than an hour the preemter resource will error and the ers-rg resources will be offline.

These messages will be in the global or non-global zone running the SAP resource groups.
