Measurements Reports for An IPGW Card Are Reported In Two Lines When The Assoc Goes Down For A Few Seconds : Default AS and Normal AS Name (Doc ID 2195783.1)

Last updated on JUNE 13, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications EAGLE (Software) - Version EAGLE 3x.x and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In case of SCTP association being "restricted" or "not available", the related COMP_UA measurement file (sent to FTP server), shows two lines for the involved association:
- one with "AS" field equal to "default",
- the second one with the real asname (association name)

This problem happens only on those measurement intervals when the association goes down, while there are no problems on those intervals when the association is always UP.

For example, suppose an assoc goes down for a few seconds, then come up again: at the end of this meas interval the problem will be present.
Suppose the next interval there are no problems with this assoc (i.e. always up), in this case the meas will be OK.
This problem occurs on all customer's Eagles.
It occurs only for associations created on IPGWI cards, while it is not occurring for associations created on IPSG cards (basically, this means that the problem occurs only when AS is present - i.e. on IPSG there is no AS for associations).
