Solaris Cluster 4.3 ORCL.oracle_external_proxy Resource Fails to Login into Database with "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist" (Doc ID 2205007.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Solaris Cluster (OSC) 4.3 after creating a new Oracle External Proxy (ORCL.oracle_external_proxy) service, the service cannot log into the database.

The error "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist" is visible.

 

If using cacao debug level "FINE" in /etc/cacao/instances/default/private/logger.properties then the following will be reported in the cacao logs at /var/cacao/instances/default/logs
