Login attempt to Secure Global Desktop server fails with with error of " response from SGD server" (Doc ID 2221610.1)

Secure Global Desktop (SGD) administrator may get reports that users cannot login with the message of " response from SGD server" in the user/password login page.
The problem even happens when the system is on low load.

Reviewing the SGD server log files (by default found at: /opt/tarantella/var/log), provides the following information:

In the jserver log, following exception may be seen:

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
Exception in thread "SGD Proxy Provider Thread 2" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError:
Java heap space

In the sgd log, following error may be seen:

server/server/warningerror #1471016861285
Oracle Secure Global Desktop (5.20.929) WARNING:

Only 9 connection workers available, of
1009 connection workers.

You are reaching the limit for the number of connected clients of the
current configuration of this Tarantella server. New clients will be
unable to connect or log in to this Tarantella server.

Increase the number of connection workers available and restart, or
consider adding more servers to the Tarantella array.

 The Recommend Solution
 1.Increased the memory used by Tomcat from the default, 512M.
 2. The issue is not reproducible on SGD 5.2 Patch Set 8 and SGD 5.30.914 with settings in above 1.
