Windows / SMB clients mapping a Samba share will not be able to access it
The Samba smbd process core dumps
The samba Service enters maintenance State due to the core dump

maintenance 3:45:27 svc:/network/samba:default
pstack output of the smbd core file will display the following
System was upgraded to Solaris 220.127.116.11.0 or greater
Solaris Samba was upgraded from version 3.6.25 to 4.4.5 in Solaris 11.3 SRU 18.104.22.168.0 or greater
Samba 4.4.5 uses its own internal version of Kerberos and not the Solaris system Kerberos.
