Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance: BUI shows Less Memory than is Physically Installed (Doc ID 2235100.1)

Symptoms

The customer has a clustered ZS3-4 Storage appliance.

Each appliance head had an upgrade when another 8 DIMMs were installed to make a total 1TB of memory.

But the second appliance head only registered 960 GB of memory shown within the BUI -  under the maintenance hardware view.

 

Changes

 New 16GB DIMMs installed to upgrade to 1TB
