Purpose

This document includes answers to frequently asked questions on RAID configuration for Exalytics "X" model servers.  These servers all have the Linux operating system and include models X2-4, X3-4, X4-4, X5-4 and X6-4.  The supported RAID configurations described in this document are applicable to Exalytics servers that have been patched or installed with Exalytics Release 2.0.0.0.0 or 2.0.0.1.0 and apply to both Linux 5 and Linux 6 systems.
