Symptoms
Under certain circumstances when it takes some time for the EM agent to retrieve metrics data, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) may end up reporting an unknown state for the OUD instance that is being monitored.
The following types of messages have been observed when the issue occurs...
INFO - Target [oracle_oud_directory.NNN] is marked as in DOWN state
Error during operation: Unexpected Error
An unexpected error has occurred while processing the page or dialog "MetaDataPageActivityDef[dshomePg]".
