Unable To Reset Supervisor Password For Oracle MiniCluster MC-S7

The issue is due to a known software defect and is encountered when trying to reset the supervisor password.
One click's the Reset Password option from the MCMU Dashboard , it asks for the user to enter a username. One enters the 'supervisor' user ID and is promptly returned back to the same page. One then checks the 'Approval Board' for the pending request however it does not appear.
1. Point a browser at https://<management_host_name>/MCMU and login with supervisor credentials
2. In the Browser UI, select option to "Change Password".
3. Enter password and click 'Change Password'
4. It returns to the same screen in an endless loop
User has already changed password either manually or via MCMU BUI at least once.
