SuperCluster Cell Patching Failure Due to Bonded Configuration (Doc ID 2268917.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.
During the application of patches for the QFSDP the patch pre-check fails with errors about definitions in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ib*.
Ultimately with a status of "Consistency check FAILED"

Symptoms

 [ERROR] Can not continue. Runtime configuration is not consistent with values configured in /opt/oracle.cellos/cell.conf . Run ipconf to correct the inconsistencies. Failed check: [Info]: ipconf command line: /opt/oracle.cellos/ipconf.pl -check-consistency -at-runtime -nocodes
[Info]: Verify that the configured values in the Exadata configuration file /opt/oracle.cellos/cell.conf agree with the actual values in use on this system
Parameter BOOTPROTO must be set to "static" in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ib0 : FAILED
IP address must be defined in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ib0 : FAILED
Netmask must be defined in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ib0 : FAILED
Parameter BOOTPROTO must be set to "static" in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ib1 : FAILED
IP address must be defined in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ib1 : FAILED
Netmask must be defined in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ib1 : FAILED
Configuration must match run time. Interface bondib0 is absent in /opt/oracle.cellos/cell.conf, but has state UP : FAILED
