Symptoms
Attempts to use Solaris Samba /usr/bin/smbclient to communicate with a Windows, or other system, that does not allow SMB1 protocol will fail
Adding the smbclient option -m|--max-protocol set to SMB2 or SMB3 does not work
Changes
SMB1 protocol use may have been restricted in the environment due to security recommendations
