Error received on the Windows Client


Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item

Samba logs may contain errors such as:



Installed Solaris Samba Patch 119757-38 (SPARC) 119758-38 (X86) or later or Solaris 11.3 SRU 14 or later.

This upgrades the Solaris Samba version from 3.6.25 to version 4.4.5 or greater.
