New Lpar Is Failing To Connect As A SMC Client To SMC Server (Doc ID 2292974.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.
The new client was running SMC and HSC as it's own tapeplex and was converting to a SMC Client.
Unable to connect to an existing SMC Server environment after changing the SMC parms to to define the server tapeplex and servers.


Unable for a new SMC Client to connect to the SMC Server

Received the following errors on the the SMC Server;

SMC0216 HTTP Server accept info: 036
036 Socket=0, port=8888
036 Error=accept() error=35 (00000023)
036 Reason=strerror=Operation would block (suspect port scan)
036 SMC comm RC=752

SMC0217 HTTP Server socket info: 037
037 Socket=0
037 SMC comm RC=800
