Purpose

Document 2180265.1 describes the manual process of adding Fibre Channel Virtual Functions to a SuperCluster configuration.  This process has been automated using a script.  The usage of this script is described in this document.  The script itself is attached to this document.

Scope

The script and process described in this document are intended to be used on SuperCluster M7 an/or M8 systems when Fibre Channel adapters have been physically installed or upgraded and need to be configured for use by the SuperCluster Virtual Assistant (SVA).  Any other use of this script is out of scope.
