Purpose

Identify a possible cause for slow NFS performance when using a SAM-QFS shared file system.

Provide solution to an intermittent issue, in which the MDS server appears to slow down when performing NFS activities coming from a Linux client that's accessing files in the Shared QFS filesystem.
