ACSLS - ACSLS Is Not Coming Up After Rebooting the SL3000 Library (Doc ID 2309637.1)

Symptoms

There was a library problem that required the library to be rebooted.  ACSLS was shut down prior to the reboot.
During ACSLS restart, the following errors were logged over and over to the acsss_event.log:

 

The SLConsole shows a tape in the CAP.

 

Setting the desired states for the port, ACS, lsm and cap and then restarting ACSLS allowed ACSLS services to go online.
However, the same error messages appear when varying the LSM online.   The VARY process loops and cannot be cancelled.
The only way to terminate the VARY command is to kill the VARY process.
