Oracle HSM: Recycle Process Does Not Recycle Tapes

Symptoms
Rcycler worked for awhile, then stopped working.
The original recycler.log, whose location is defined in the ∕etc∕opt∕SUNWsamfs∕recycler.cmd file, did not contain enough detail to determine why the customer's tapes were not being recycled.
The sam-recycler command the customer was running from 'crontab' needed to be modified to add the '-dvx' options, or they could could add that to the command line on a manual run.
Changes
After the customer configured their recycler.sh, found in ∕etc∕opt∕SUNWsamfs∕scripts∕, the first few batches of tapes were recycled correctly but then the recycler quit working.
