Goal
To avoid numerous bugs with the onboard fiber ports, it is necessary to upgrade the firmware for these ports. This document gives a step by step process on how to upgrade the firmware of the build-in fiber ports on an ODA X7-2 server.
Currently, you can only use one pair of ports, but not all 4.
For instructions on how to update the Whitney+ card (Dual 10/25-Gigabit SFP28 Ethernet), reference DOC ID 2431518.1.
