On December 5th, 2017, Oracle announced the End of Sale (EOS) of the Netra Server X5-2 for Communications platform.

This end of sale announcement covers the Netra Server X5-2 for Communications platform, including spares and hardware upgrades, as well any remaining software configurations which are still active:

• Oracle Communications Application Session Controller configurations on Netra Server X5-2
• Oracle Communications Core Session Manager configurations on Netra Server X5-2
• Oracle Communications Session Router configurations on Netra Server X5-2
• Oracle Enterprise Communications Broker configurations on Netra Server X5-2

Replacement Strategy

Oracle Server X7-2 for Communications is the replacement platform for Netra Server X5-2 configurations. Please refer to the application release notes for specific software support plans for Oracle Server X7-2.

Please note that Oracle Server X7-2 is only available in AC configurations.
