X application crashes in 16/8 Color Mode

Symptoms
Users report that when launching Secure Global Desktop (SGD) X application, it will start up but eventually, it will crash or disappear.
System Administrator of the SGD server determine that the ttaxpe crashed with a SIGSEGV. This issue only happens with X applications configured with Color Depth set as 16/8 bit.
NOTE: This article does not cover how to determine if the ttaxpe crashed with SIGSEGV. If assistance is needed, please contact Oracle Customer Support.
