Solaris 11.4 - NFSv4 and NFSv4.1 Clients Ignore acregmin and acdirmin Attributes (Doc ID 2390013.1)

Solaris Operating System - Version 11.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When using NFSv4 or NFSv4.1, the Solaris 11.4 NFS client ignores the acregmin and acdirmin options.

The default values are 3 and 30 seconds.  However, when NFS file (or NFS directory) is referred to via the root user, the NFS client acquires GETATTR which results in unexpected NFS calls over the network.

The problem only occurs for "root" -- NOT for regular users.  For regular users the caching mechanism works as expected.

On Solaris 11.3, NFS client recognizes the acregmin and acdirmin options.
However, the behavior changed in Solaris 11.4.
