Goal
Tips for performing predictive physical shared disk health assessments for the ODA V1.
This note is not meant to be comprehensive or confirm ASM or multipath state which is better assessed using different methods.
This also does not discuss the SYSTEM / BOOT disks which are typically assessed using different methods.
This note does not discuss the REDO / SSDs which have some other unique characteristics described in an alternative note.
The lower level procedure described here helps determine relative disk health which can be a useful on older Oracle Database Appliance hardware.
