Last updated on AUGUST 31, 2018

Applies to:

Solaris Operating System - Version 11.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

One particular guest domain was experiencing serious problems with network reliability and performance.

Symptoms included:

    - inability to connect via ssh or with other applications to a peer guest domain within the same system (shared primary domain)
   -  seriously slow throughput when testing (with uperf) to an external host - 1.6Mbits/sec through a vsw which is associated with a 2x10Gbps aggregation (on a T5-2)

Meanwhile, with the same uperf, another guest domain within the same system achieves 8.75Gbps.
