Troubleshooting an Ethernet Link Down on an Engineered System

Goal

 Steps to isolate to a faulty component when a DBnode Client Network port (eth2 and above) has an ethernet port with a link down.

NOTE: For Client network connections on eth2 and above, the Customer owns and maintains the cables in the data center that attach to the Customer owned switch.

NOTE: On Engineered systems, eth0 connects to an Oracle provided Cisco ethernet switch and Oracle is responsible for cables and switch port .
