# svcs -xv

    maintenance 16:57:03 svc:/network/nfs/cbd:default //nfs4cbd does not start up

and of course the nfs4cbd daemon is not running.

We see the daemon trying to start, per  the /var/adm/messages log:

Jun 15 17:41:44 aceweb2 nfs4cbd[15835]: t_open /dev/tcp failed: t_errno 8, Permission denied
Jun 15 17:41:44 aceweb2 nfs4cbd[15835]: cannot establish transport service over /dev/tcp
Jun 15 17:41:44 aceweb2 nfs4cbd[15835]: Cannot establish NFS4_CALLBACK service over /dev/tcp: transport setup problem.
Jun 15 17:41:44 aceweb2 nfs4cbd[15835]: Could not start NFS4_CALLBACK service for any protocol

The daemon can't access /dev/tcp, apparently.

These files were checked - no problems:

1) /etc/inet/services
2) /etc/inet/protocols
3) /etc/nsswitch.conf

We see:

       -> might be an issue
