Oracle X7-2 Servers Selecting BIOS "Load Optimized Defaults" can cause SATA M.2 disks to disappear. (Doc ID 2415738.1)

Symptoms

The system was originally configured for SATA M.2 RAID per the Oracle® Servers X7-2 and X7-2L Installation Guide:

"Configure RAID Using RSTe"

During the OS install, it fails with "An Unknown error has occurred"

Clicking on "More Info..." will give clues the error is related to storage devices.
