Acme Packet 3900 / Cannot Access System Console (Doc ID 2418390.1)

Customer reported having a console access issue with new 3900 Chassis.

I confirmed the console adapter was provided by Oracle.
I confirmed the RJ45 cable had the correct pin layout

RJ45 Pin Number DB9 Pin Number Color

Receive Data (RXD) 6 --------------------- 2 Yellow

Transmit Data (TXD) 3 --------------------- 3 Black

Ground 4 --------------------- 5 Red

I confirmed that they had the correct Terminal Application Serial Settings for Use with the Console Port
Serial Connection Parameter Setting
Baud Rate 115,200 bps
Date Bits 8
Parity No
Stop Bit 1
Flow Control None

I suggested the customer check the DB9 to USB converter to ensure it was the proper converter.

Access 3900 SBC via console connection
