SIPREC Send One End Point RTP Stream Instead of 2 to Recorder When Receiving ODD Number as Port for RTP Recording From Recording Server (Doc ID 2433223.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 15, 2023

Applies to:

Net-Net OS - Version E-Cz8.0.0 and later
Acme Packet OS

Symptoms

During a call that traverses the SBC (VM), the recording sip-interface (SIPREC) sends only 1 RTP stream to the recorder instead of 2 streams in nnECZ800p2. Same flow with version 7.5.0p3 works ok.

Changes

The design change of SBC dropping audio whenever there is odd ports was introduced from 8.0  and it was done intentionally and this was the defect fix (BUG 26401943) to correct the wrong behavior on the SBC/SRS flows in RTCP handling that went in "ECZ800".
