Verified Boot feature may fail after motherboard replacement on SPARC T5/T7/T8 Servers (Doc ID 2448648.1)

Symptoms

The Verified Boot configurations are stored on the SP (service processor) and motherboard.
If this feature is enabled and the motherboard is replaced, Verified Boot will fail on these server/firmware combinations:

SPARC T5/T7/T8 Servers with ILOM 4.x firmware releases:
T5: 9.6.20.x >
T7: 9.8.2.x >
T8: 9.8.1.x >  


Depending on how the feature is enabled (boot_policy=enforce or warning), the system will not boot
