"User Selectable PIN Assignments Are Not Supported," for SecurID Authentication (Doc ID 2462313.1)

Symptoms

After deploying RSA archives using the procedure defined within <Document 2442788.1>, the Secure Global Desktop (SGD) Administrator receives the following message when the SecurID token is in "new PIN mode."

Additional nuances of this behavior:

  1. The SGD Administrator has verified that basic authentication using SecurID is working as expected after deploying RSA archives. 
  2. User-selectable PIN assignments have worked as expected in an earlier deployment of Secure Global Desktop.
