Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
ILOM ASR Client connection failure resulting from a certificate expiration.
Scope
The ILOM ASR 4.x and 5.x client has a feature to allow for strict certificate checking when connecting to https://transport.oracle.com
Based on the version of firmware, there may be older Certificate Authorities referenced and/or different expiration dates.
The current Certificate Authority for https://transport.oracle.com is Digicert.
Any of the applicable ILOM ASR Clients with strict certificate checking enabled can update to the Digicert root certificate below, or disable strict certificate checking.
