Symptoms

When displaying the Globally Unique IDentifier(GUID) of an InfiniBand Host Channel Adapter(HCA) port in most views of the ZFS Storage Appliance management interface, not all of the GUID is displayed. Only 15 of the entire 16 digits are seen.

NOTE: An error like this:

error: An unanticipated system error occurred: no such GUID: 0x506b4b0300698a5

may be seen when attempting to display this information through either of these 2 commands:

maintenance select chassis-000 select slot select slot-<m3 hca slot> show

or

configuration net devices select igb<port number> show

In this example it is known that the actual port GUID is 506b4b0300698a51, using the full 16 digits, but the display truncates the GUID to 15 digits:

Changes

There was a significant change in the InfinBand HCA GUID format.  Previously 14 digits contained the valid GUID with 2 leading zeros to make up the complete 16 digit value.
