Description

64-bit SLIC SM cards running outdated bootloader (bootloader version-1) reboots continuously during upgrade phase3. Documented "SLIC 32-bit to 64-bit Conversion" procedure (https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E86948_01/docs.465/E86976_rev_2.pdf) includes a step to update the bootloader. So if the SLIC SM Cards are getting converted to 64-bit during the HC2 or later (i.e. between HC2 and upgrade) , then user just need to follow the documented "SLIC 32-bit to 64-bit Conversion". Nothing else to be done. If the SLIC SM Cards are already running 64-bit GPLs (converted before HC2) and if operator is not sure whether they followed the Documented "SLIC 32-bit to 64-bit Conversion" procedure or not, then bootloader may be updated during HC2, using this KM, to avoid unexpected card reboots during upgrade phase 3.
