Login to Solaris Dashboard Stuck at User Name; Rad SMF Log Shows "Assertion Failed" in rad_conn_setlocale Function (Doc ID 2497182.1)

Symptoms

Attempts to login to the Solaris Dashboard fail as follows:

   1. In a browser, navigate to <Hostname_or_IP_Address>:6787

   2. Type the user name and press enter or the "Start" button.

The login does not progress to the Password screen.  Instead, the "User name" screen is presented again.



The following is seen in /var/svc/log/system-rad:local.log:
