IBM LTO8 - Has Problems Writing EOT, End of Tape. (Doc ID 2506723.1)

IBM LTO8 drives having multiple mounting issues in an SL8500. These are the only 2 LTO8 drives in this library which have been failing on different nodes lately, I have replaced both of them and now customer reports the same errors as before the replacement.

The san switch does NOT show any errors on the fibre link.
