Symptoms
In Solaris 11.4 command nslookup gives error about FIPS and MD5
Changes
After upgrading host from 11.3 to newest 11.4 (11.4.3.5.0) below errors are seen from nslookup output. This host has FIPS-140-2 enabled.
# nslookup oracle.com
/builds/11.4-SRU/11.4.3.1/components/bind/bind-9.10.8-P1/lib/dns/hmac_link.c:3
60: FIPS mode is 1: MD5 is only supported if the value is 0.
Please disable either FIPS mode or MD5.
