Application Launches Fail within HTML5 Client for Secure Global Desktop, Work as Expected with other Client Modalities. "Error: Connection error from wss://" (Doc ID 2540635.1)

Symptoms

Users report that applications provisioned via Secure Global Desktop (SGD) fail to launch when connected with the HTML5 client modality using a supported browser, but work as expected when connected with an alternate SGD client, such as the new "Installed" or classic Java clients. 

This behavior will be seen in all application launches attempted on the impacted device, and presents with an immediate "Disconnected" message within the new tab.

 

If the user selects the "i"nformation icon from the upper right corner, they will be redirected to additional diagnostic information related to the launch attempt, which may look like:
