Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The Sun Storage Common Array Manager (CAM) uses SSL Certificate with 1024-bit RSA key for JAVA Webconsole. The SSL Certificate of Webconsole is present in the form of two JAVA Keystore files which are keystore.jks and wccerts.jks. These two files are present in the following path on the respective host operating system where CAM is installed:

Solaris
     /var/webconsole/domains/console/conf/keystore.jks
   /var/webconsole/domains/console/conf/wccerts.jks

Windows
      C:\Sun\WebConsole\var\domains\console\conf\keystore.jks
   C:\Sun\WebConsole\var\domains\console\conf\wccerts.jks

Linux
     /var/opt/webconsole/domains/console/conf/keystore.jks
   /var/opt/webconsole/domains/console/conf/wccerts.jks

The SSL Certificate has a validity period and post which the two files need to be recreated. This document gives the procedure to check the validity and create/install two new Keystore files for CAM installed in Solaris Operating System.
